A total of 7.4 million Veidekke shares were traded on the stock exchange in the second quarter. The largest shareholders at 30 June 2010 were OBOS, IF Skadeförsäkring AB and Folketrygdefondet.

A sale of shares to senior employees was conducted in second quarter. 358 people took advantage of the offer and purchased a total of 1.21 million shares from the Veidekke Employee Share Trust in the subscription period 6 - 18 May. The employees could choose between two offers: Offer A including a 20% discount and partial financial assistance, or B with a 30% discount and no financial assistance. The maximum number of shares per employee was 4 500. The share prices were set at NOK 35.20 and NOK 30.80 after 20% and 30% respective discounts on the market price during the subscription period. Shares are subject to a three year lock-in period.

During the quarter the share price varied between NOK 38.50 and NOK 52.50.
