Norway's Asthma and Allergy Associsation
Veidekke has recently signed a strategic cooperation with the Norwegian Asthma and Allergy Association in our aim to make future housing and residential areas even better to live in. There are many things in a dwelling which are not dangerous to begin with, but which can over time lead to respiratory problems in both adults and children. We want to be proactive in this area, and learn more about how we can develop housing and residential areas which decrease the risk of developing such diseases. This means that we not only support the Association financially, but value and emphasise sharing experience and knowledge with them. We want to reduce the number of risk factors, such as exhaust fumes from materials or burnt dust from panel heaters, and ensure the best planting of outdoor areas.
Bellona
Veidekke's Norwegian Property Division, Veidekke Eiendom, has entered into a three-year cooperation with the environmental organisation Bellona through the Association of Commercial Real Estate. The main objectives of this cooperation are to make energy efficiency one of the most important political tools in the battle against climate change in Norway, and to enable a mutual dialogue and transfer of competence on important climate-related strategies and measures. The cooperation shall focus on political and financial framework conditions, as well as means, measures, technology, products and services which are climate and environment-friendly.
