New AFP scheme
In February 2010, Norway adopted a new contractual early retirement scheme (AFP). This will lead to changes in accounting for the AFP. Veidekke has entered a pension liability relating to the former AFP scheme into its statement of financial position. A large portion of this will be reversed. Consequently, in the first quarter of 2010, Veidekke will post approximately MNOK 95 as a reduction in labour costs in its profit and loss account.
